Sony has made a deal with director Brian Taylor to both write and direct a live-action Twisted Metal movie, according to dealine.com.
Brian Taylor co-directed the new Ghost Rider movie, and Twisted Metal seems like a proper fit for someone who worked on a movie of that caliber. As was reported, this live-action rendition will include famous characters like Sweet Tooth, Doll Face, and Calypso, as expected. The story will also revolve, as expected, around the kamikazi tournament and some story behind each character.
Does the Twisted Metal world sound like a perfect fit for a movie, or is the normal hour and a half time that a movie runs not enough for such a story?
