Sony to reveal PS Vita’s GPU secrets at Develop Conference 2011

In an announcement made earlier this morning, it was revealed that Sony will discuss the PlayStation Vita at this year’s Develop Conference.

The discussion will take place on July 20, and head of developer services Kish Hirani and Sony’s Neil Brown will give the first public talk since the handheld was revealed as the NGP back in January.

Brown will delve into the technical specifications of the PS Vita, and will discuss how the graphics pipeline in the Sony-made handheld will work, which is said to be vastly different compared to the GPU’s found in current-gen gaming consoles and PCs. Brown will also discuss some of the findings from current PS Vita developers.

The Develop Conference will take place between July 19 and July 21 in Brighton, U.K.
