Sony UK has announced it will be hosting a tournament to coincide with the launch of Polyphony Digital’s upcoming Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in the region later this month.
Taking place March 17 – 25, the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue UK Championships requires gamers to complete two laps of the game’s London course in an effort to find the fastest playtime.
Players with the fastest time from each location will be awarded a variety of prizes, including a Sony PlayStation 3 console, while the top three fastest in the country will be invited to London on March 27 (the day of Prologue’s release) to compete in the final. A top prize has yet to be revealed.
