Sony’s Mobile-Focussed Dev Savage Game Studios Rebrands To Neon Koi

Savage Game Studios, the mobile developer owned by format holder Sony, has announced it has been rebranded as Neon Koi following the exit of a number of company executives.

Michail Katkoff, the studio’s co-founder, announced he was leaving Savage Game Studios back in July 2023, while Sophie Vo (general manager) departed in September to move into consultancy work. As such, both Mike McManus (head of technology) and Nadjim Adjir (game director and co-founder) have taken the helm.

After consideration and reflection on our values, mission, and the incredible growth we’ve experienced, we’ve decided to embrace a new identity that better aligns with our vision for the future. Neon Koi represents our culture and the passions of our game project.
