The official SoulCalibur X account has revealed that Soulcalibur III will be making its way to the PS Plus Classics Catalog via PS Plus Premium later this year.
The fan-favourite brawler will be playable on both PS5 & PS4 and will also be released as a standalone edition that can be purchased on the PlayStation Store.
Soulcalibur III was originally released for the PS2 back in 2005 and is notable for being the last entry in the franchise to receive an arcade entry. Among the new features of Soulcalibur III include new modes such as Tales of Souls, which is an interactive narrative-based mode that has been compared to Soul Edge’s Edge Master Mode. In addition, there’s a Character Creation feature were players can cobble together custom characters from 13 occupations, which include multiple weapons and fighting styles.
