Why Is Spider-Man PS4 Rated T?

Spider-Man PS4 is due for release on September 7, 2018. The Entertainment Software Board has rated it T for Teen. In the UK, the Spider-Man PS4 rating is 16+. Consequently, the game features violence and strong language. There’s also reference to drugs, and instances where you’ll see virtual blood.

Spider-Man has a heavy focus on combat. This means that Spider-Man will be engage in fights with enemies, using a range of combat techniques. This includes kicking, throwing and punching characters in a violent manner.

According to previews, there are also some slow-motion combat sections. Spidey slows down as he’s about to make impact during some fight sequences. There are also Quick Time Events. In one sequence, the comic book hero stops citizens from a crane crashing on top of them.

The game also features weapons, which include machine guns and pistols. There is one scene where a character shoots himself in the head. In another scene an innocent character is shot. There are also numerous plotlines that involve drug dealing.

In terms of strong language, you can expect to hear the word sh*t.

In the story, Spider-Man (aka Peter Parker) is on a crime-stopping spree across New York. It features many of Spidey’s enemies, including Mister Negative, The Shocker and Kingpin. The day-one patch will also add a New Game Plus mode. Once players have finished the campaign, they’ll be able to play again with a tougher challenge. This means that enemies will put up more of fight during combat, and fight scenes may be lengthened as a result.
