Hazelight Studios‘ Josef Fares has revealed that a pair of Split Fiction players will be invited to Sweden to check out the company’s new project, having managed to beat the secret Laser Hell challenge.
For those out of the loop, the Laser Hell can be accessed by in the Isolation stage by inputting a specific sequence of switch presses on the elevator. Chinese players sharkOVO and E1uM4y did just that, and posted their accomplishment on streaming site bilibili, after which a video played featuring Fares congratulating the duo and inviting them to visit Hazelight’s HQ.

You have to understand that in this challenge, there are barely people on our team that can make it. It took us a lot of time to finish it and I’m telling you that this is a crazy, crazy achievement that you have done.
Fares then took to X to congratulate the pair on completing the challenge, and reaffirmed that they will be invited to Sweden to check out the new title. As previously reported, Fares confirmed during an interview this week that Hazelight has started working on their next project, although it’s still early days at this point.
