Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in the U.K. in ‘early 2012.’
The Japanese giant previously pinned a January 2012 date on the RPG sequel for the U.S., though wouldn’t commit to a PAL date until now.
FFXIII-2 is set five years after the events of its predecessor, and follows Serah Farron and Noel Kreiss as they embark on a quest to rescue FFXIII protagonist Lightning.
The game hits Japan in December of this year.
