With Final Fantasy XVI having been out for just over a month now, publisher Square Enix has cooked up a survey asking fans what they want to see from the critically acclaimed RPG down the line.
The survey is currently being distributed in Japan, although we see no reason why it won’t also come to the US and Europe at some point. A translation of the survey reads as follows:
For those who have purchased the action RPG “Final Fantasy XVI” released on Thursday, June 22, 2023, we are conducting a survey on the game content on the Square Enix Members website. The results of the questionnaire will be fed back to the development team and used to improve future development and services.
Speaking of the future of Final Fantasy XVI, the game’s producer, Naoki Yoshida, has said that the development team are considering options for DLC, so we be getting new content at some point. Square Enix also recently jumped to defend the sales of Final Fantasy XVI after some people suggested it had sold below expectations, noting that it has actually performed very well relative to the PS5’s install base.
Final Fantasy XVI was released on June 22, 2023 for PS5, and you can read our full verdict here.
