For many, Star Wars is a universe of characters, worlds, and stories we fell in love with as children. The newest trailer for the highly-anticipated game Star Wars Battlefront pulls on your childhood heartstrings and reminds us of the wonder we have of a galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars Battlefront launches on November 17 in North America and November 20 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game’s best-looking console experience will be on the PS4 version, which runs at 900p resolution, up from Xbox One’s 720p. The blockbuster shooter will not have a traditional single-player campaign mode or microtransactions. Publisher Electronic Arts and developer DICE recently unveiled a $50 season pass and three new game modes for Battlefront.
Pre-orders of Star Wars Battlefront will receive one-week early access to the map Battle of Jakku, which is set in the upcoming Episode VII: the Force Awakens film. For hardcore Star Wars fans, a special edition Darth Vader-themed PS4 console bundle and Walmart-exclusive Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition with Han Solo mini-fridge will be available at the game’s launch as well.
The beta that ran earlier this month brought in over 9 million players across all platforms.
