Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace PS Plus Premium Release Looks Likely As PS5, PS4 Rating Appears

PSOne classic Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace has been rated in Taiwan for PS5 & PS4, which all but confirms the game is coming to PS Plus Premium in the near future.

Developed by Big Ape Productions, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace was released for PC and PSOne back in 1999 to coincide with the film. The game takes place from a top-down perspective, and follows the plot of the movie closely although also expands greatly on some areas that were not depicted on-screen.

Players control a number of characters from The Phantom Menace, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-on Jinn, Queen Amidala, and Captain Panaka, battling against the likes of Darth Maul, the Trade Federation’s battle droids, AATs, Tusken Raiders, and more.

While an official announcement has yet to be made on the game coming to PS Plus, many PSOne titles have been rated prior to hitting Sony’s subscription service, so there’s no reason to assume The Phantom Menace won’t be getting the same treatment.
