Starbreeze Announces Project Baxter For 2026 Release, Will Be Based In The Dungeons & Dragons Universe

Starbreeze Entertainment has announced it has licensed the Dungeons & Dragons IP from Wizards of the Coast for use in its upcoming Project Baxter, which Starbreeze is developing and publishing.

Project Baxter is scheduled for release in 2026 and takes place in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, and will incorporate Starbreeze’s signature cooperative multiplayer shenanigans, and will importantly feature full Cross-Play support. The game is being developed using the Unreal Engine 5, and will launch on all ‘major platforms.’
