Preliminary development of Bumpy Trot 2 (otherwise known as the sequel to Steambot Chronicles) has been shifted from Sony’s PlayStation 2 console over to the PlayStation 3, according to the games official website, located here.
The Steambot Chronicles was a unique RPG to say the least, blending a fantasy story with Western elements. The battle system also strayed from the norm, including the implementation of various robots.
This change in platform doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering it was announced for the PS2 not long before the PS3 launched. Irem, the company behind this title, will be unveiling the game next week at the Tokyo Game Show; however, its web page currently shows some insight to what the game will look like.
