Stellar Blade was revealed as Project Eve back in 2021 at the PlayStation Showcase, and following its appearance, the CEO of developer Shift Up, Kim Hyung Tae, gifted the entire 260-strong development team a PS5.
As reported by @ZhugeEx, Hyung Tae opted for a PS5 simply because he wanted to make sure everyone on the team could play the game once it was released. That’s only a matter of weeks away now, as Stellar Blade makes its long-awaited debut on April 26, 2024 for PS5.

While we’re on the subject of Shift Up, the studio is currently staring up for its next project, which it describes on its official website as a Cross Platform Next-Gen title with an urban sci-fi them. Meanwhile, those of you looking forward to Stellar Blade can download a demo of the game on the PlayStation Store now.
