Original Story – The Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin trial demo is available to download right now on PS5. Sadly no details have been revealed about a potential PS4 demo at this current time.
The Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin trial demo is available for free right now on June 13th through June 24th at 7:59 (PDT). The US PSN link is live here and those in the UK can find the link here. The demo is currently not working for players, however, so hang tight. Square has offered the following statement on the issues:
In case you missed the announcement at Square-Enix’s E3 2021 stream, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a Team Ninja developed prequel to the first Final Fantasy title which reimagines the origins of the big bad knight, Garland, who would go onto feature in the series.
The game looks set to include elements of Dark Souls style combat and exploration, likely pulling on Team Ninja’s heritage with the similarly designed Nioh games.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set to release on PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2022.
