Street Fighter 6 has received a brand new update today courtesy of Capcom, which marks the arrival of legendary series brawler, Sagat. This latest playable character arrives alongside the Proud Spire stage, and a bunch of new outfits for various characters including Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly. Sagat’s arrival marks the beginning of the Season 3 for Street Fighter 6. Originally appearing in the original Street Fighter as the final boss, Sagat stands over seven feet tall and is a master of the Muay Thai fighting style. In addition to his appearance in the Street Fighter series, he also showed up in the 1994 Street Fighter (played by Wes Studi) and had a cameo in Wreck-It Ralph. Street Fighter 6 was release for the PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in June 2023, and was later released on Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch title in June 2025. This version of the game was accompanied by Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition, which included all the DLC released up to that point. Capcom confirmed that Street Fighter 6 has sold five million copies worldwide as of June 2025.
