Ready for some more Double Dragon in your life? Of course you are! Arc System Works has announced that Super Double Dragon and Double Dragon Advance will be coming to PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on November 9, 2023.
Switch owners will however be getting the bonus of the Double Dragon Collection, which includes the above two titles as well as Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones, and Double Dragon IV.
Super Double Dragon was originally released for the Super NES in 1992 in the US and 1993 in Europe, and is one of the few entries in the franchise that differentiates Billy and Jimmy Lee beyond their designs. Meanwhile, Double Dragon Advance launches in November 2003 for the Game Boy Advance, and is a remake of the 1987 Double Dragon arcade game.
Double Dragon is enjoying something of a major revival as of late, and if you’re a fan, you absolutely need to grab the excellent Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, which puts the series back on the map and back to its best.
