Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios have announced that the System Shock Remake will launch on May 21, 2024 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game was originally released on May 30, 2023 for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
System Shock Remake takes place on an abandoned space station where players must the malevolent SHODAN, which wish hellbent on destroying humanity. The basic principle remains the same, but Nightdive Studios has completely overhauled the System Shock experience with new high-definition visuals, enhanced controls, a fresh user interface, and remastered sound effects and music.
