In Take-Two Interactive’s fourth quarter for its fiscal year 2024 report, the publisher confirms that the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI will be launching in Fall 2025.
This release window is already in line with what had previously been reported, though Rockstar and Take-Two are finally starting to close in on a release window, giving a season and a year for when to expect what’s likely going to be the biggest launch in games industry history so far.
After more than a decade of Grand Theft Auto V continuing to sell millions of copies a year, it’ll be interesting to see if GTA VI will be able to live up to such impossibly high expectations.
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI,” said Take-Two in its report.
“We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”
