Bandai Namco has just gone and released a brand new trailer for the latest entry in their famed Tales JRPG franchise, Tales of Berseria.
In addition to providing an extended glimpse at the battles and story cutscenes, this new trailer is also notable for showcasing Berseria’s main protagonist Velvet, who has a nifty range of werewolf shapeshifting style attacks and abilities (as if her feral-looking garb didn’t tip you off to the fact).
In addition to the trailer, Bandai Namco have also confirmed that Tales of Berseria is set to release in Japan sometime in 2016 on both PS3 and PS4. A western release, though still unconfirmed, will likely follow at some point after. The game was originally announced back in June at the Tales of Festival 2015 which was held in Tokyo.
The most recently released Tales game, Tales of Zestiria, was reviewed by our very own Timothy Nunes who declared the title “a success in all the right ways” before bestowing a lofty 8/10 score upon the series PS4 debut.
