Techland Suggests Dying Light May Be Supported Beyond Upcoming Hellraid DLC

Dying Light is over five years old now, but apparently that’s not going to stop developer Techland from wrapping up its extensive post-launch support for the zombie-parkour romp. The next DLC drop, Hellraid, is slated to arrive on PS4, PC and Xbox One later this month, but it may not be the last.

More Dying Light DLC On The Horizon?

Chatting with GameCrate, Ola Sondej, Techland’s senior PR manager, made it clear that Hellraid isn’t necessarily the final DLC drop for the game.

We don’t think of Dying Light: Hellraid as the final DLC and we plan to continue our support for Dying Light.

This may not come as a surprise, as the company previously said last year that supporting Dying Light 1) keeps the community engaged and 2) allows the team to experiment with various ideas for Dying Light 2 and obtain feedback from users.

Speaking of which, Dying Light 2 is currently in production at Techland and will be released for PS5, PS4, PC and Xbox One. A release date has yet to be announced, but the studio has already said they plan to support the game for a long time.
