Terraria set to debut later this year on PS4

Indie gamers, rejoice! Terraria – the runaway PC sandbox hit – is heading to PlayStation 4 later this year, developer 505 Games has confirmed.

The announcement came via the game’s forum where 505 Games spoke of its excitement in bringing Terraria to next-generation systems. Luckily gamers won’t need to wait too long to get the lowdown on the game’s PS4 makeover as it’s set to be featured at next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

‘’At E3, we will be showing off Terraria on PS4 behind closed doors, with cross-play and cross-save to PS Vita! All of the 1.2 content will be packed into our Terraria Next Gen releases alongside some brand new functionality!’’, said the developer in a forum post.

Alongside a closed doors briefing 505 Games has also confirmed a slew of screenshots which are set to be unleashed onto the gaming public next week in conjunction with the mania created by E3.

Stay tuned to PSU this coming week for all the hot gossip and insight from gaming’s premier trade show and don’t forget to give us your thoughts below.
