The Texas Chain Saw Massacre publisher Gun Interactive has revealed during an interview with MP1st that it is exploring the idea of ‘traditional DLC’ over a Battle Pass.
When asked about if there are plans for a Battle Pass micro-transaction model, the studio replied:
We’ve discussed this internally. There’s pros and cons to that model. As of right now we’re looking at a more traditional DLC plan without a pass.
Gun Interactive previously confirmed that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will feature a Performance and Quality Mode for PS5 users. The last-generation versions of the game will feature just one mode, although at this point there’s no details on how the game will actually run in terms of frame rate and resolution.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is pencilled in for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on August 18, 2023.
