First-person psychological mystery thriller The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline is in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, Entalto Publishing and ONE-O-ONE Games have announced.
The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline sees players controlling Gabriele Alighieri, a man crushed by a legacy that he never asked for. Every 33 years, the barriers fade between our reality and Hell fades, and to protect your family and the world, a ritual must be performed, returning to your ancestral Italian villa to take on a destiny you have spent years avoiding. Along your journey, you’ll decipher complex environmental puzzles linked to Gabriele’s trauma and the Alighieri legacy.
Players will also be able to soak up dual reality exploration, alternating between the melancholic Italian manor and a surreal dimension known as The Dive, which is molded by the psyche. The events of the game reimagine Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy as an introspective, surreal experience, transforming epic poetry into a thriller with dreamlike qualities.
The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline is due out on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a release date yet to be announced.
