Serkan Hasan, the Lead Designer on Ubisoft’s open-world racer, The Crew, has promised the hotly anticipated title won’t be troubled by various issues that have plagued recent high-profile titles at launch.
Speaking during an interview with the Metropolist, Hasan remains confident the game will enjoy a trouble-free release period thanks to extensive beta testing.
“For The Crew, we’ve reaped the benefits of a long term beta program, designed specifically to push our infrastructure as far as possible in real world situations, with thousands of players from all over the world playing the game at the same time," he said.
"The launch of any online game these days has potential issues, but I hope that players will be encouraged by our open approach.
"If you had any doubts that we could pull this off, I hope that the betas proved our credentials and the game’s stability."
Hasan also said that players can expect The Crew to run at 1080p/30fps for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on day-one.
