Tom Henderson has claimed that production on Ubisoft’s The Division 3 won’t kick off until work on Star Wars Outlaws is complete.
Speaking on X in response to a fan asking what’s happening with the next instalment in the popular shooter-RPG series, Henderson simply replied that “it will go into production after Outlaws.” Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled for release in August, so there’s probably not long to go until that game is one, after which Ubisoft Massive will turn its attention to The Division 3.

The Division 3 was announced back in September 2023 although there isn’t much known about the sequel at all right now. Prior to this, Ubisoft had said that it had no plans for a third chapter in the franchise, but thankfully for fans it’s obviously changed its mind.
The Division 3 has yet to attract a release date but with production not even having kicked off yet, we’re not going to see it for quite a few years yet.
