The Division Definitive Edition Ad Reportedly Spotted In Japan During Ubisoft Event

Ubisoft is reportedly planning to release a Definitive Edition of The Division, according to an ad that has been spotted during an event in Japan.

The poster for The Division: Definitive Edition has been doing the rounds on social media, and was snapped being advertised at FPS Day, which is an event focused on Rainbow Six Siege, Defiant, and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Furthermore, a panel celebrating The Division’s 10th anniversary is due to take place at the event today.

Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced The Division: Definitive Edition yet, although the poster itself looks to be legitimate so we imagine something will be revealed soon. The game was originally released in 2016 and takes place in New York City in the aftermath of a viral pandemic known as the Dollar Flu, as the contagium spreads from person to person via cash.

The Division 3 is currently in development at Ubisoft, and last week the series’ executive producer confirmed the game is still in the pipeline and is ‘shaping up to be a monster.’ In related news, Ubisoft released an update for The Division just before Christmas that allows the game to run at 60 FPS on the PS5.
