Those of you eager for more news on the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls 6 may want to take a seat, as Bethesda has indicated it’ll be years before we hear anything substantial on the fantasy-RPG.
The Elder Scrolls 6 Details Won’t Come Anytime Soon
Word comes from the Twitter account of Pete Hines, who noted that Starfield is Bethesda’s next major project, and that’s still shrouded in mystery as it is. As such, there’s no chance of hearing anything about the next Elder Scrolls for some time.
It’s after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. So if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations.
This probably won’t come as much of a surprise, as Bethesda previously said that Starfield would be out before The Elder Scrolls 6. Nonetheless, it’ll be the longest gap between Elder Scrolls titles to date when it does eventually come out, as it’s already been nine years since The Elder Scrolls 5; typically, new games would release every four-five years.
The Elder Scrolls 6 was officially announced at E3 2018 via a brief teaser trailer. A job listing back in January suggested that the game is only just entering full production.
