Nexon Games has deployed a new update for The First Descendant, which addresses a number of issues with the game including screen lag for Infiltration Operation: Hard (400% difficulty), as well as implementing various improvements for the UI/UX. You can read the full details in The First Descendant update 1.027 patch notes below. The First Descendant was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in July 2024.

- Infiltration Operation: Hard (400% difficulty)
- Improved an intermittent screen lag issue.
- Fixed issues with incorrect champion monster attributes and reward information.
- Fixed HUD displaying a fixed max score of 50,000 in 400% mode.

- Added ‘Select All’ option for selling blueprints.
- Energy Activator and Crystallization Catalyst blueprints can no longer be sold.
- Blueprints can now only be sold within reward limit capacity.
- ETA-0 now displays names of sold-out items.
- Invasion
- Fixed mission marker issues upon restart in Echo Swamp – The Chapel.
- Fixed problems with joining allies during final battle areas in Vespers and Fortress.
- Fixed UI display issues on the Invasion mission start screen.

- Corrected a bug with Esiemo’s Creative Explosion skill module not reflecting damage increases properly.
- UI/UX
- Added event banner button to the game menu UI.
- Head highlights appear when selecting paint for dyeing a Descendant’s head skin or hair.
- Fixed double markers in the White-night Gulch missions.
- Corrected additional monster markers during Extermination missions.
- Fixed text display issues in Inventory when sorted by Reactor.
- Miscellaneous
- Added ‘Dismantle all tiers’ option under ‘Exclude from junk’ filter.
- Cash shop bundles now clarify Descendant-exclusive items.
- Updated the chat banned word system.
