The Game Awards 2024 is inching closer with each new day, and on Thursday host and creator of the show Geoff Keighley announced that we’ll be able to check out the full list of nominees for this year’s show on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Keighley announced the news with a short video on YouTube, which explains that the nominees will be revealed during the 2024 Nomination Special that’ll stream live at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT on Monday.
He also notes that this year marks the 10 year anniversary of The Game Awards, so hopefully there’s more than a few big announcements lined up for this year’s show, since you’d think that Keighley would really want to go all-out.
The awards themselves are happening on December 12, 2024, and after Monday we’ll know which games players will debate over what does/does not deserve GOTY and why.
That’s all par for the course, but hopefully there’s no surprise controversy, like games being nominated as Indie when they’re backed by giant parent companies.
