Bandai Namco is bringing costumes from its hit idol management sim The iDOLM@STER to their latest fighter Tekken 7.
The announcement came in the form of a trailer on the official Tekken YouTube channel, which opens jokingly with Tekken character Paul Phoenix making his idol debut. The rest of the video shows costumes from iDOLM@STER’s Miki, Haruka, Hibiki, Yayoi, Yukiho, Chihaya, Iori, and Takane on Tekken’s female cast.
Famed Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada is a big fan of The iDOLM@STER (Iori is his waifu), so the collaboration between the two franchises comes at no surprise.
The iDOLM@STER is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and unveiled a trailer for the in-progress PS4 project and Taiko Drum Master spin-off this weekend.
