The King of Fighters XIII has been pushed back until November 22, publisher Atlus has confirmed.
The retro-fused brawler was originally pencilled in for release in the U.S. on October 25, but has been delayed by a month to undergo some extra tweaking.
Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Atlus, commented, "The additional time will ensure that the game delivers on its promise of becoming the finest entry in the series’ 15+ year history.”
"KoF fans have tremendous expectations for this title, as do we. Our commitment is to nothing less than the very best The King of Fighters game ever, and all of our efforts and resources are dedicated to assisting developer SNK Playmore to that end.”
Due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, The King of Fighters XIII will see the conclusion of the Ash story arc, and features new additions including the EX Mode.
