Side-scrolling adventurer The Last Case Of Benedict Fox: Definitive Edition is coming to PS5 with a number of enhancements to combat, visuals and platforming, Rogue Games and Plot Twist have announced.
Originally released back in April for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, The Last Case of Benedict Fox on PS5 will benefit from a range of improvements, including tweaked combat and platforming, enhanced visuals, and revamped user interface and enemy AI.
Matt Casamassina, CEO of Rogue Games, commented:
These are substantial, meaningful gameplay and visual improvements that take what was already an absolutely gorgeous, extremely engaging Metroidvania to new heights on PlayStation 5.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox takes place in a gothic-soaked Boston, with the eponymous detective descending into oblivion on a journey to uncover the truth behind a mysterious family tragedy. Along the way, he must answer to the whims of a demon that has possessed his soul while diving into the memories of the deceased through a gripping narrative that marries exhilarating combat and brain-teasing puzzles.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox: Definitive Edition has yet to attract a release date.
