Developer Plot Twist has revealed that its action-platforming Metroidvania The Last Case Of Benedict Fox will be making its PlayStation debut on PS5 with The Last Case Of Benedict Fox: The Definitive Edition, which launches on March 26, 2024.
Those already familiar with Benedict Fox’s final outing will know it launched in 2023 on PC and Xbox platforms. This launch marks the game’s arrival on PlayStation, and the arrival of new features for players to enjoy.
Regarding the new content, The Definitive Edition will include new combat arenas, new quests, puzzles and new story content.
Plot Twist is also making some quality of life updates to Benedict Fox, with improvements made to animations, to combat and traversal, all to create an experience that flows with responsiveness and intensity.
“The team at Plot Twist as been hard at work updating The Last Case Of Benedict Fox to incorporate the feedback of our passionate community and better realize our original vision for the game,” said chief executive officer at Plot Twist Pawel Czapla.
“Now, we’re ready to introduce this thrilling Metroidvania title to a whole new group of players on PS5, while bringing our community on Xbox and PC the updates they’ve been patiently waiting for.”
