The Last Hope: Dead Zone Survival Struck Down From The Nintendo eShop After Sony Makes A Copyright Claim

An absolutely abysmal knockoff of The Last Of Us that appeared on the Nintendo Switch eShop as The Last Hope: Dead Zone Survival has been struck down from the digital storefront after Sony issued a copyright claim.

It’s no longer available to purchase, and when you try to look at the official trailer you’ll find a copyright message and on the store page you’ll see a 404 message featuring Peppy Hare from the Star Fox franchise.

The Last Hope: Dead Zone Survival made headlines for all the wrong reasons when it recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, and if not for those headlines and its blatant ripping off of The Last Of Us, it might’ve slid under Sony and the rest of the gaming world’s radar.

Unfortunately however we’ve been made all too aware of its existence, and it feels like a rare case when a copyright claim is in fact the best thing that could have happened.
