Filming of HBO’s The Last of Us series is continuing ahead of its planned 2023 launch, and while we’ve still yet to receive an official trailer, we have got what is probably our best look at Ellie and Joel so far.
The image below showcases both characters sat on a wall catching some much-need downtime in the midst of their post-apocalyptic roadtrip. If you recall, the original game found time for contemplation and somber moments to punctuate the frantic action-heavy set pieces and lashings of horror, so this is keeping in with the source material nicely.

In related news, Naughty Dog is heavily rumored to be working on a full remake of The Last of Us for the PS5. Yesterday, it was reported by a respected leaker that the game will arrive in September alongside a PC version of the game, something which was corroborated by Jeff Grubb.
The Last of Us was originally released for the PS3 in 2013 and was remastered for the PS4 the following year.
