Naughty Dog‘s The Last Of Us multiplayer project could also be heading to PS4 in addition to PS5, according to a job listing for an associate multiplayer quality assurance tester.
The position calls for the successful applicant to have “working knowledge of PS4 and PS5 systems,” which suggest the game will be a cross-generation release. Naughty Dog hasn’t confirmed whether or not the game will be heading to PS4, so this job listing is all we have to go on right now.
The Last of Us Multiplayer was announce during 2022 Summer Game Fest, and the Sony-owned studio has revealed that it’s by far its most ambitious title to date.
The original Last Of Us featured a multiplayer mode known as Factions, although the sequel didn’t ship with one. Back in November 2022, Naughty Dog continued to swell its team for The Last of Us Multiplayer with the addition of Anders Howard, the battle pass designer for Fortnite.
