The Last Of Us Part 2 Actor Is Working On An ‘Epic’ New Motion Capture Project

The Last of Us Part 2 actor Derek Phillips has revealed that he’s working on a new motion capture project, although understandably isn’t saying too much about it right now.

Back in my sexy mocap tights. Can’t wait to share what I’m working on with all of you! It’s gonna be epic!!!!”

If you’re scratching your head as to who Phillips played in Naughty Dog‘s post-apocalyptic title, he portrayed Abby’s father, Jerry Anderson, in flashback sequences. In addition, he’s also appears in Call of Duty: Vanguard as Lieutenant Wade Jackson.

Beyond this, the actor’s resume is packed full of video game appearances, such as Aliens: Colonial Marines, Battlefield Hardline, Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the original The Last of Us.

It’s worth remembering that Naughty Dog is rumoured to be working on a full remake of The Last of Us, as well as The Last of Us Part 2: Director’s Cut. Could Phillips be involved in either of these projects? It’s entirely possible given his character appears in both.
