Naughty Dog, developer behind The Last of Us Part 2, has revealed that it will be sharing knowledge on accessibility options with other studios going forward.
Naughty Dog On Sharing Accessibility Options
The Last of Us Part 2 is noted for offering a huge amount of accessibility options – over 60 in total, to be precise – ensuring it is able to reach as many consumers as possible. Unsurprisingly, Naughty Dog is keen to share some of these features with other developers.
Speaking with Can I Play That, lead systems designer at Naughty Dog, Matthew Gallant, commented:
Knowledge sharing is critical to the advancement of accessibility support across the games industry. We have and will continue to discuss and collaborate with other developers and studios who are also striving to provide better accessibility features for players.

Emilia Schatz, co-lead game designer on The Last of Us Part 2, added:
Naughty Dog’s investment in accessibility saves that guesswork for other developers, allowing them the development time to include and even improve on these features for their own games.
