There hasn’t been a new Killzone game in just over 10 years now, but Sony has finally acknowledged the franchise, albeit briefly, via some skins featured in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
The outfits can be worn during the main campaign and reference a bunch of franchises including Death Stranding, Destiny, Mortal Kombat, Killzone, WipEout, and many more. Sadly that’s about as good as it gets for anything Killzone-related, as there still hasn’t been any news of the franchise making a comeback; the PS5 would definitely be a great platform to revive the series, but Guerrilla Games seems busy with Horizon for now.
