Beau Anthony Jimenez, a former developer at Naughty Dog who worked as a sound designer on The Last of Us Part 2, has announced on Twitter that he has joined up with Sony Santa Monica Studio, the studio behind the forthcoming God of War Ragnarok.
Jimenez previously worked on a number of popular Naughty Dog games outside of the post-apocalyptic sequel, including Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and previously enjoyed a stint at Halo developer Bungie, where he worked on Destiny and Destiny 2.
Having now joined Sony Santa Monica, Jimenez has confirmed that his first project is indeed God of War Ragnarok, which is currently in development for the PS5.

God of War Ragnarok has yet to attract a solid release date, but Sony has said that it is coming out at some point this year. The game is the follow-up to the 2018 God of War for PS4, which acted as a soft reboot for the critically acclaimed franchise..
