The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will launch in Summer 2024 in the US and UK for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, NIS America have announced. The game will include English and Japanese audio options, with English text.
Originally released in Japan back in September 2021 as The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki, the game will feature a Collector’s Edition available through the NIS America Online Store, which will include the game, a mini art book, digital soundtrack, hard cover art gook, one-disc digipak soundtrack, business card case, movie poster art card set, and an “Oct-Genesis” collector’s cover.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak picks up as Calvard is undergoing unprecedented economic prosperity in wake of a brief war. However, the number of immigrants increases causing unrest form the public, with political reforms running rampant. Players will follow sprigged Van Arkride, who takes on a unique request that proves to be more than he bargained for.
The game’s Alignment system allows players to affect the story by performing certain actions and choices, and your propensity towards Law, Chaos and everything in between will influence your status within the city, changing what jobs and dialogue are available to you. Meanwhile, players will travers seamlessly between action field battles and turn-based combat using the Action Time Battle System.
