The Lord Of The Rings: Return To Moria Goes Gold, PS5 Version Pushed To Dec. 2023

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria has officially gone gold ahead of its PC release on October 24, Free Range Games and North Beach Games have announced, although the PS5 version has been delayed to December 2023.

Based in the epic fantasy universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria takes place during the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, and follows the Dwarves as they attempt to reclaim and restore their homeland of Moria.

Summoned by Lord Gimli Lockbearer to the Misty Mountains, the company of Dwarves must use teamwork if they are to recover the lost treasures of their homeland, with players able to create their own custom Dwarf before exploring the mines, or team up online with a group. Fans of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings movies will be pleased to learn that John Rhys-Davies will be returning to voice Gimli.

Venturing deeper into Moria, players will have to forge powerful weapons and armour to defend themselves against the onslaught of goblins, arachnoids and other adversaries that block their path, while unearth the mysteries of the Misty Mountains along the way.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will launch on PS5 on December 5, 2023 as a digital download and physically at retail.
