Update: Following the removal of the tweet announcement, web archives have revealed that the release date was leaked through the PlayStation Europe Twitter account, revealing the release dates for PowerWash Simulator, NeverAwake, and Backfirewall.
The upcoming indie Season: A letter to the future was also listed, though its release date was revealed last month.
Original Story:
Power washing anything in the real world can be quite the chore. Doing it in the comfort of your home while playing PowerWashing Simulator however, can be quite meditative and relaxing.
And on January 30, 2023, players on PS5 and PS4 will be able to experience that meditative thrill for themselves when it releases.
The announcement has seemingly come a little earlier then it was meant to, as it was spotted by Gematsu on Twitter, with the tweet being pulled down shortly afterwards.
PowerWash Simulator developer FuturLab posted an update on the game’s next incoming batch of content just yesterday, in which it said that news regarding the simulator’s launch on other platforms would come alongside announcements about new content.
“Console launch announcements and releases for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5 will also be coming with content announcements for early next year.”
FuturLab pointed to “several development factors” as to why news regarding new content would not be made public today as it had previously said.
