Earlier this year, Telltale Games announced The Walking Dead episodic mini-series ‘Michonne’, much to the excitement of fans of its zombie survival game. And with recent tweets from Telltale’s Head of Creative Communications, Job J. Stauffer, we get the impression its release is not far away!
Although no specific release date is mentioned, Stauffer’s choice of words tell us it may be sooner than we expect!

Telltale has released two, five episode seasons thus far, as well as standalone episode “400 Days” which ties the two seasons together. The Walking Dead: Michonne however, will contain a new story, focused on titular character Michonne, who fans may recognize as an iconic character from both the comic book and TV series. This three episode mini-series will focus on Michonne’s untold story, taking place between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book series, unveiling just what happened to take Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group.
