Odaclick Game Studio has announced that it’s working on a side-scrolling beat-’em-up, The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, which is based in the same universe as the AMC’s TV series. The game is coming to PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S, although a release date hasn’t been set yet.
Offering intense arcade brawler set in the world of The Walking Dead, this beat-’em-up sees players controlling Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne as they battle through hordes of walkers across multiple locations, including infested tunnels, settlements, and hostile strongholds. In addition to the undead, you’ll also face the Saviors, a group of ruthless human survivors fronted by Negan, as you dispatch foes with signature weapon attacks and bone-crunching finishers.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival also throws powerful bosses in your direction, which are based on fan-favourite walkers including Winslow, the Well Walker, and others. Plus, you’ll get to throw down with Negan and Simon of the Saviors in intense multi-phase boss fights that will test your skills to the limit.
Fans of The Walking Dead TV series will be able to wield iconic weapons such as Rick’s Colt Python Magnum, Michonne’s signature Katana, and Daryl’s ever-reliable crossbow.
