The update comes in light of news of a potential The Witcher 4, with one of the series’ primary voice actors saying he knows nothing about a sequel.

The Witcher is based on the medieval fantasy novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, and launched for the PC back in 2009. The game was followed by two sequels: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in 2011 and 2015 respectively.

Wild Hunt proved a critical darling and notched up considerable commercial success, shipping 10 million copies worldwide as of March last year. CD Projekt RED rolled out two major expansions for the game, including Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine.

Both expansions were included alongside the base game in The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition release.
