The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition will be released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on August 30, Bandai Namco Games has announced.
As expected, this re-release of the 2015 critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG includes the base game plus all available downloadable content, such as Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, plus every game update released since launch.
The Witcher 3 was originally released back in May 2015, and became a massive commercial success, shipping nearly 10 million copies as of March this year. In addition, the title also picked up numerous accolades, including Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Game Design at the Game Developers Choice Awards and D.I.C.E Awards, respectively.
Packing over 150 hours of fantasy role-playing action, The Witcher 3 places gamers in the worn boots of Geralt of Rivia, a grizzly monster hunter who is on the search for a child prophecy during the events of Wild Hunt’s main campaign.
