The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a direct sequel, and it’s not a video game called The Witcher 4. Instead, it’s a comic book called The Witcher: Corvo Bianco.
Spoilers ahead for those who’ve not played The Witcher 3 and its Blood and Wine DLC expansion.
Corvo Bianco will pick up where the Blood and Wine expansion leaves off, with Geralt a happy and comfortable retiree with a vineyard to look over, and depending on your playthrough, Yennefer or Triss by your side.
Over the course of five issues you’ll see that life be torn apart, and Geralt must shake off the cobwebs of his witchering skills.
The comic book is a result of a collaboration between Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt RED.
“Corvo Bianco was his [Geralt’s] dream, but he needs to fight for it!” said writer Bartosz Sztybor in the announcement post on Dark Horse’s website.
Of course The Witcher 4 is still on the way, but while we wait it’ll be interesting to see how Geralt’s story continues in this comic series.
