A PS4 version of Thomas Was Alone is currently in the works with an eye for a release later this year, Curve Studios’ Rob Clarke has announced.
Speaking via Sony’s U.S. PlayStation Blog, Clarke – the PR and Marketing Manager of the developer – stressed the excitement of unveiling the game to a whole new generation of PlayStation gamers who may not have had the chance to pick up the game before.
Crucially, the game will feature Cross-Buy, meaning if you have purchased the game on PS3 or PS Vita you’ll get the PS4 version absolutely free.
There were no forthcoming details regarding any difference between that of the PS3/PS Vita versions and the in-development PS4 one, but we’d hazard a guess and say that given the game’s minimalist graphical approach not a whole lot will change. And that’s not exactly a bad thing by any means.
